Extend your stay beyond your visit to the Boat Show and enjoy the facilities of the New Forest. There are walks through the National Park, with its famous New Forest Ponies, from the Guest House and cycle routes without having to negotiate any busy roads. During the summer months the Open Top Bus stops at the end of the road and the three “hop on, hop off” routes visit “Longdown Activity Farm”, “New Forest Wildlife Park”, “Burley”, “Beaulieu Motor Museum and Stately Home”, “Exbury Gardens”, “Barton on Sea”, “Hurst Castle” etc. Bournemouth is only 20 minutes drive away as is Winchester with its Cathedral and Great Hall. “Stone Henge” and the “Historic Dock Yard” and “Spinaker Tower” at Portsmouth are within easy reach.

For younger children Paultons Park, home of Peppa Pig World, is only five minutes away by car, and for older children there is “I Go Ape”.
